Real estate registration documents in Turkey
The following are the documents necessary to ensure legal real estate registration in Turkey:
First: Title Deed (Tapu):
It is the document that confirms the ownership of the property and is provided to the owner by the Real Estate Registration Department (Tapu).
Second: the residence and residence document:
It is the card issued by the Turkish Immigration and Residence Department, which guarantees that the buyer obtains the right to reside in Turkey, and after the buyer obtains the title deed and the residence card, it is important to confirm the residence and residence information with the municipality department.
Third: management and administration fees (revenues):
Private companies provide management and administration services for residential complexes in exchange for specific monthly fees that vary in value from one complex to another.
Fourth: Water and Electricity Charges:
The new property ownership is registered in the water and electricity departments, and the collection (payment) process is done on a monthly basis.
Fifth: Real Estate Settlement Certificate:
Real estate settlement certificate, which is a document issued by the local authorities confirming the property’s readiness for housing, and without it, the complex cannot be used by property buyers, as the water and electricity departments cannot provide services to complexes that do not have settlement certificates, and the project is considered incomplete.
